Merino wool is made of the finest grades of wool from the Merino sheep. Yarn characteristics:
- Merino wool has a built in quality called “Thermo Regulation”: Breathable in summer, insulating in winter
- The wool can absorb steam and yet the surface rejects water.
- The absorption of water can be up to 33% of the net weight without felling clammy, furthermore wetness will be dispelled quickly from the fiber
- Merinofiber is naturally crimped which gives the wool resilience
- Merino wool is fine and very flexible and soft. It offers a high level of comfort and is therefore perfect for many types of clothing. It is especially good for baby clothes.
